Reel Impact Support for Black and Global Majority Talent

Deadline

The Film and TV Charity has reopened 'Reel Impact' a programme providing grants to Black and Global Majority individuals and organisations in the UK. The initiative aims to address systemic racism in the industry by supporting skills development, leadership opportunities and networking.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to individuals, while organisations can apply for up to £25,000.

Eligible applicants include Black and Global Majority individuals and organisations working to uphold anti-racism practices in the industry, as well as Black-led or owned production companies seeking to scale up, enhance sustainability or provide support to talent. Funding is also available to individuals looking to further their careers and support others.

The programme supports a range of activities, including expanding staff resources, purchasing equipment, developing industry contacts, brand building and consultancy support. Organisations can also apply for funding to enhance leadership capacity, increase resilience, diversify revenue and maximise technology for commercial viability.

Financial assistance is available for new business ideas or opportunities.
