The Community Resilience Support Project (CRSP) was funded by RBKC to help coordinate the voluntary sector response to the cost of living crisis. The CRSP Team helps organisations collaborate to provide vital advice and support to residents at this difficult time.
Food Support Network
The Food Support Network comprises six organisations, operating across RBKC, each dedicated to offering free or low-cost food and comprehensive support services to residents facing financial challenges. In addition to food assistance, each organisation provides residents with access to advice, support, and a range of activities within a community setting.
The organisations in the network are Bay20, Dalgarno Trust, The Space, SMART, Response Community Projects, Venture Centre/ Flashpoint.
In 2023 KCSC won £45,000 from the GLA Food Roots Project to form the network and provide training to the food network members.
Support for residents and groups
If you run a group or activity with residents that could use some support with the cost of living, get in touch. We can provide group sessions and one-to-one support tailored to your group.
We aim to provide the most up-to-date information on all of the assistance that is available for residents in the borough. We can provide benefits checks, access to cash first payments and individual grants and can also signpost to organisations that provide food, clothing, IT training and access to devices and data.
Connecting residents with one of our team, or a trained specialist advisor, in a familiar community setting is a great way of providing holistic support on a range of issues.
Staff training sessions
The CRSP project is part of a network of advice agencies, statutory services and grant makers that can provide a range of support and advice to residents. We can provide training so that staff members are equipped to provide the latest cost of living advice to residents in the communities they support.
