Grants of up to £5,000 are available from the Olympia Charitable Trust to non-profit organisations and schools. The Trust will prioritise projects whose beneficiaries are based in the boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea or Hammersmith and Fulham.
What can be funded:
Applications can be for:
- Capital projects
- Projects/specific activities
Salaries cannot be funded.
Grants of over £5,000 may be considered in exceptional cases.
Relevant Factors:
Applications must be in line with the Trust’s promotion of charitable purposes, which include:
• the relief of persons in need, hardship, sickness or distress;
• the furtherance of education;
• the provision in the interests of social welfare of recreational facilities;
• the promotion for the public benefit of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation;
• the relief of unemployment for the public benefit and provision of training, especially among
unemployed people;
• the protection or conservation for the public benefit of the environment.
The Trust prioritises applications that will maximise the impact of any funding granted and will consider factors such as the reach of any award, the number of individuals benefiting and the duration of any benefit.
How to apply:
Although applications are open throughout the year, funding may run out before the end of the year. In this case, impacted applicants would be notified.
