It is part of the Youth Empowerment Programme, which aims to build and strengthen the voluntary and community sectors through capacity-building support, partnership development, and supporting services that align with the following priorities:

Physical and emotional well-being and mental health.
Safe and secure spaces.
Celebrating and strengthening the sector through meaningful partnerships.
A total of £100,000 is available, with £50,000 ring-fenced for organisations with a turnover under £250,000.
Grants of up to £8,000 are available for groups to deliver projects and activities with children and young people.
Grants of up to £10,000 are available for organisations making a significant adaption to support children and young people with SEND, and projects that support a high number of disabled young people.
