Three levels of funding are available to support the heritage sector to strengthen its recovery from the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the current cost of living crisis across the UK.

Round 3 Window 1 of applications will close at 11.59am on 12 July 2023.
Charities and community groups can apply to the Community Ownership Fund (COF) to take ownership of assets at risk of being lost, such as pubs, theatres and parks. Charities can bid for grants of up to £50,000 in revenue funding, and the government will match fund-up to £250,000 in capital costs.

This programme offers a larger amount of funding (over £10,000) for organisations that work together with a shared set of goals to help their community – whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.
