Both small and main grants are available to registered and exempt UK charities, depending on their income and project category.
Projects must address at least one of the following categories:
Social and Criminal Justice: The aim of this funding is to prevent people becoming involved in the criminal justice system and to support those already in the system to move on and rebuild their lives.
Amount which can be applied for: £15,000 - £25,000 per annum for up to three years. (Main Grant Programme)
Overseas: Projects that improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged communities in Commonwealth Countries of Africa.
One-off grants of up to £15,000 are available. (Main Grant Programme)
Older People: Projects that are preventative and local intervention programmes that enable older people to remain independent and stay in their own homes.
Small grants of up to £7,000 are available and there is no deadline for this category. (Small Grant Programme)
