Metal For Good is offering grants for community groups, charities, and other not-for-profit organisations across England and Wales to deliver projects and activities that music as a tool for change and help to create a more equal society.
Proposed projects should focus on one or more of the following themes:
- Helping young people (aged between 0 and 24) to thrive.
- Addressing inequalities.
- Improving wellbeing.
The following levels of funding are available:
- One grant of £3,000.
- Two grants of £2,000.
- Three grants of £1,000.
Funding can be used to help an organisation provide new services or expand pre-existing ones.
The deadline for applications is 22 August 2024.
The following are not eligible for funding:
- Contributions to general appeals or circulars.
- Religious activity which is not for wider public benefit.
- Public bodies to carry out their statutory obligations.
- Activities that solely support animal welfare.
- Retrospective costs.
- Grantmaking by other organisations.
- Privately owned and profit-distributing companies or limited partnerships.
