Westway Trust are launching BAY 57 under the Westway Flyover as a dedicated space for community events, activities and celebrations.
They are offering grants of £2000 to five non-profit organisations operating in Kensington and Chelsea for them to host events and activities in BAY 57 for its launch during the spring school holidays from 7-20 April 2025.
Who can apply:
- Community organisations
- Registered charities
- Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)
- Registered Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Community groups with a written constitution or governing document (i.e. articles of association)
The organisation must operate in Kensington and Chelsea. Preference will be given to organisations who can show impact to communities in at least one of the five wards of North Kensington (Dalgarno, Colville, Notting Dale, St Helen's, Golborne).
Westway Trust staff are able to provide the following support to successful applicants:
- Equipment loan (tables, chairs, stage, audio equipment etc)
- Promotion of the event/s as part of the Bay 57 Showcase Programme
- Event planning advice and support
