RBKC are looking for people to join as an Independent Visitor and positively impact the lives of children and young people in care (ages 10-25). By providing a consistent, supportive, and fun presence, Independent Visitors help build their confidence and create lasting memories. This role has been described as life-changing, offering volunteers a chance to be truly valued and make a difference.
RBKC offer comprehensive training, ongoing support, a budget for activities, and reimbursement for travel. They are seeking volunteers who can commit to monthly visits for at least two years, show resilience, and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of young people.
