Breastfeeding Resident Survey

As part of developing our integrated breastfeeding plan across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, we have created a resident breastfeeding survey. 

Why share your experience? 

• Help improve local services 
• Contribute to valuable research 
• Have your voice heard

The survey is open to:

• anyone living in RBKC or Westminster who is either pregnant or has an infant under the age of 2

Neighbourhood Doulas - Healthy Lifestyle Pregnancy Programme

Free Community Healthy Lifestyle Programme 

Make healthy lifestyle changes to improve health and wellbeing in your antenatal period and beyond.

Neighbourhood Doulas is a free maternal health doula organisation providing vulnerable pregnant women doula support throughout pregnancy, birth/labour and postpartum period.

These interactive sessions and tips to improve physical and mental health wellbeing take place on Mondays from 10.30am to 12pm.

Free Change4Life healthy lifestyle clubs for local families after half term

Family Action are delighted to share details of their upcoming term of free Change4Life Clubs for local children and families, which start after the half term break. 

A free five week programme, open to any child (with accompanying parent/carer), young person or expectant parent who lives, attends a state-funded school or children’s centre or is registered with a GP in Kensington and Chelsea or Westminster.

Improving planned care and reducing NHS waiting times in North West London: your views

NHS North West London is engaging with residents, health and care professionals, community groups and stakeholders to develop a new strategy for planned care. Planned care refers to a non-emergency health care, such as hospital outpatient appointments or planned surgery. To help improve waiting times, fair access and patient experience, we need to consider the changing needs of people in North West London, the increasing number of people who are seeking care, and how we tackle the unfair differences in waiting times and care experiences for people from different communities.

One You Integrated Health Lifestyle Service

One You Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster provide a universal Integrated Health Lifestyle Service to provide bespoke interventions that enable your patients to make simple and sustainable changes and improve their health. The aim of the service is to reduce their long-term risk of developing cardiovascular disease or lifestyle-related cancers. The service is funded in partnership by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council and delivered by Reed Wellbeing.

Volunteer to Career Programme - Mental Health Ward Volunteer Opportunity at St Charles Hospital

CNWL are looking for a Mental Health Ward Volunteer at St Charles Hospital - Mental Health Centre. This role is part of their Volunteer to Career (VtC) programme, which is designed to give volunteers practical experience in mental health care while supporting their teams. Volunteers help with tasks like organising recreational activities, assisting with practical tasks, and providing general ward support - all under the guidance of their wonderful staff.

Charity Commission issues guidance on new fraud prevention regulations

The Charity Commission have released new guidance for charities on regulations coming into force on 1 September 2025.

Large charities (for example those with over 250 employees) will be subject to tighter regulations around preventing fraud, and the Charity Commission have sent out alerts to charities who may be affected.
