Nova's School of Humanity

Submitted by zina serageldin on

The School of Humanity is an event put on to challenge stereotypes and inspire transformative change for a more compassionate world. This is open to anyone who would like to learn more about other people's personal stories who come from a background typically subject to labelling, negative stigma and judgement.

On the day, you can expect The School of Humanity's Living Subjects to be extraordinary people who have been defined by a generalised label (e.g. Transgender, Ex-Drug Addict, Refugee, Child Bride, Anxiety, Abuse Survivor) who are volunteering their time to share their personal life story. It’s an opportunity for Learners to ask curious questions they might normally hold back from. And for the Living Subjects, it’s a chance to break out of the box society tend to put them in.

This event on Thursday 25 April from 6pm - 8pm, is free and open for all to attend.
