RBKC's Clinical Team will be facilitating a Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) Group for parents and carers, starting on Thursday, 13 February 2025, 10.30am at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

NVR aims to support parents and carers in developing strategies to resist challenging or harmful behaviours while also repairing any breakdowns in their relationships with their children. This approach empowers parents to regain a sense of parental presence and equips them with tools to regulate their emotions, enabling them to respond to their children in a more attuned way and avoiding escalations.

The survey – which was developed by NHS North West London together with local GPs and patient representatives - was aimed at all residents and patients in Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. We have now analysed the responses and are ready to discuss the findings.
