The London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI) warmly invites VCSE organisations working directly with communities or in social care to their design sprints, aimed at bringing innovations to health and social care for Londoners. These design sprints are part of LOTI's Sandbox, launched in October 2024. You can read more about the Sandbox here: https://loti.london/blog/bringing-local-authority-sandbox-to-life/
What is the LOTI Sandbox?
The LOTI Sandbox was created to bring together a diverse range of voices across health, social care, and community services to explore real-world challenges and generate practical solutions. Over the last few months, they’ve run immersive sessions to better understand the human experiences behind system complexities, and have come away with specific opportunity areas where they believe change can make a real difference.
About the Design Sprints
These design sprints are an opportunity to take what has been learned in the Sandbox and develop actionable solutions. Each sprint will focus on one theme and will involve brainstorming, prototyping, and identifying practical ideas that could be piloted or scaled up in our communities.
Upcoming Sprints:
- Community Interventions:
How can we design community-driven support that helps people live well and independently, especially after a recent diagnosis or health event? - Transfers of Care:
How might we improve the experience of transferring from hospital to community care, making the process smoother and more supportive for both patients and staff?
They hope you’ll join in and bring your expertise and unique perspective as they work to make a tangible impact in these areas.
