ClementJames: Community Triage Worker

Submitted by The ClementJam… on

For over 40 years, The ClementJames Centre has been offering local people the skills, knowledge, opportunities and support they need to achieve their potential. We have come a long way since our founding days – from a straight-forward homework club to a well-established community support charity, transforming the lives of close to 3,000 people each year.

Working with so many people people referred to us in different ways (e.g. schools, online, community organisations, word of mouth) requires a focused approach in order to ensure that individuals receive targeted support. With that in mind, we have created a new role at The ClementJames Centre: the Community Triage Worker. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of projects within our Community Hub Team, with a primary focus on providing an assessment of clients’ needs. As the initial point of contact, you will be the friendly face for adults and young people referred to our programmes, acting as a passionate ambassador to communicate our diverse services effectively both in person and remotely. Additionally, the role will involve client engagement, needs analysis, impact evaluation, administrative tasks and ad hoc delivery support.

The Community Hub Team work in five key areas of support: Employment, Wellbeing, Information Advice and Guidance, Numeracy and Literacy and Early Intervention. Our dedicated staff team is essential to the success of everything we do. Together, we work towards a fairer society where everyone is empowered to release their potential and live fulfilled lives.

If you believe that everyone should have the opportunity to release their potential and live fulfilled lives and you would like to join a dynamic, innovative organisation, then The ClementJames Centre could be the perfect career choice for you.
