Submitted by Duncan Cordy on

The Charity Commission have released new guidance for charities on regulations coming into force on 1 September 2025.

Large charities (for example those with over 250 employees) will be subject to tighter regulations around preventing fraud, and the Charity Commission have sent out alerts to charities who may be affected.

The Home Office have also published guidance on the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, which the new fraud regulations fall under.
