Space has become available for use by local organisations.
Units 1 – 2 World’s End Place are vacant following the departure of WENAC (World’s End Neighbourhood Advice Centre) last year. The space is currently available for temporary use as a co-location space for non-Housing Council services, VCS provision and adult education classes. It’s an ideal drop-in space for users to visit.
RBKC are reaching out to organisations to see whether there is interest in use of the space and that they are happy to share with others. The space can be used from one to five days per week, depending on needs.
There are desks available free of charge, with free Wi-Fi, photocopier and scanner and audio-visual equipment (75 inch screen) for video conferencing/presentations or film screenings. The premises also includes a medium event/meeting space (max 12 people), a small meeting/interview room (max 4 people) and kitchenette with fridge.
At present information, advice and guidance is being provided in Unit 1 of the building on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but this shouldn’t affect access to the Unit 2 space. Any arrangements for use of the space would be temporary for at least the next 4 months.
