Westway Trust Transformation Grants

Deadline

The Westway Trust Transformation Grants programme is aimed at supporting systemic change in local communities, particularly focusing on addressing inequalities and advancing social justice.

These grants are designed to support needs-based initiatives seeking to fundamentally transform services, policies, and practices to create more equitable and inclusive environments. These grants prioritise addressing root causes of inequality, discrimination, and marginalisation.

Local voluntary and community organisations that are registered with either the Charity Commission or Companies House can apply for up to £70,000. Organisations must have strong knowledge of specific social justice issues affecting communities in North Kensington.

Applications will be assessed against two sets of criteria:

  1. Quality, to assess the suitability of the organisation to effectively deliver the programme
  2. Project, to assess the aims of the project to align with the aims of the Transformation Grants programme

Organisations must be financially solvent, with income over £100,000.

Applications should be well-evidenced and researched, and demonstrate the organisation's track record of delivering successful projects of a similar scale.

How to apply:

Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 27 July at 5.00pm.

Successful organisations at EOI stage will be invited to submit a full application by 26 August.

Organisations invited to apply should attend at least one workshop during the grant application window (31 July and/or 7 August)

Applicants will be advised of the outcome during early September.
