Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
This programme offers larger funding (amounts over £10,000) to organisations that work with their community, enabling them to thrive. Currently, they are looking to fund projects working to mitigate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and support affected communities as they seek to recover, rebuild and grow following the Covid-19 pandemic. Projects should be people-led, strengths-based and rooted in community.
The National Lottery especially welcomes applications from projects and organisations that:
- build strong relationships in and across communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage.
Organisations which are eligible to apply include:
- voluntary and community organisations
- registered, exempt or excepted charities
- charitable incorporated organisations (CIO)
- not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee - you must be a registered charity OR have a not-for-profit 'asset lock' clause in your articles of association
- community interest companies (CIC)
- community benefit societies
- co-operative societies - you must have a not-for-profit 'asset lock' clause in your society rules and also be registered with the Financial Conduct Authority
- a group of organisations, as long as they're led by an eligible organisation
K&C Together can provide you with 1:1 support before applying, to ensure that your project plan successfully involves people and communities and builds on their strengths. Email [email protected] to arrange an initial meeting with Lucy, KCSC's Community Empowerment & Participation Officer.
