Pan Macmillan is opening up its Farringdon offices on Fridays to charities with "missions that align" with their social impact work.
Called Fridays @ The Smithson the initiative is hoping to provide high-quality spaces to not-for-profit organisations that might otherwise be unable to afford hire in a central London location.
Various spaces across the fourth to sixth floors of their office at 6 Briset Street, London EC1M 5HD can be booked for free, including the building’s loft space with views over St Paul’s Cathedral. The space is also home to a growing art collection that aims to support new talent from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
Priority booking will go to Pan Mac’s existing charity partners, but the company will consider any charity that aligns with the goals of its social impact programme, entitled Making a Difference. The Making a Difference programme comprises three pillars: Reading for Life (literacy); Building an Inclusive Environment (diversity, equity and inclusion); and Protecting the Planet (environment and sustainability).
Any charities interested in booking space at The Smithson should contact [email protected].
