Healthier Futures is dedicated to supporting the well-being of North Kensington residents. Below, you'll find a variety of services categorized to help you easily find the support that best meets your needs.

Exercise and Wellbeing Services

  • Complementary therapies: Six sessions of massage therapies or reflexology. Refer yourself here.

Advice and Support

  • Legal advice for disabled people: Legal advice on disability-related benefits, PIP, UC, Housing adaptations, disability, discrimination and general casework, delivered by ADKC. Refer yourself here.
  • Information, Advice and Guidance Service: one-to-one appointments and group workshops for guidance and advice. Benefits, housing, grants and education advice for North Kensington residents delivered by The ClementJames Centre. Refer yourself here.
  • Digital Champions: Digital support classes designed for the elderly, delivered by Dalgarno Trust. Refer yourself here.

Group Services

  • Nutrition and Cooking Classes: In person healthy cooking class delivered by a different chef each week plus ingredients to take home, delivered by the Venture Centre. To sign up: Contact [email protected], call 020 8960 3234, or refer yourself here.
  • Trauma support group for disabled people: An opportunity to talk and receive support for traumatic experiences with an experienced counsellor at hand, delivered by ADKC. To sign up: Contact Glenda on [email protected], call 07541 951506, or refer yourself here.
  • Positive empowerment group for disabled people: Confidential peer support and counselling group, any issues welcome. Friendly group atmosphere, delivered by ADKC. To sign up: Contact Glenda on [email protected], call 07541 951 506, or refer yourself here.
  • Active for Health: Health and wellbeing support activities for people from BAME backgrounds, which includes supervised walks and yoga activities delivered by French African Welfare Association. Refer yourself here.
  • Caring Hands Project: Culturally specific project for people from Sub-Saharan Africa providing health initiatives through walking, chair exercises, wellbeing workshops, cooking, coffee and tea sessions, outreach at events, advocacy, advice, and translation support delivered by Pamodzi.   • Community connections: Offering English Conversation, Creative Writing, meditation, shredding, Gardening, art and other creative workshops, volunteering opportunities and placements, support with accessing training and work placements, health and wellbeing workshops, and one to one support, for residents aged 18 and over deliver by the Volunteer Centre Kensington and Chelsea. Family Services

  • Cultivate Create: Creative gardening family project run by ACAVA involving growing vegetables, harvesting, building and networks and built emotional resilience within local families interested in enriching and cultivating the biodiversity of ACAVA’s Maxilla Studios Yard and Forest School Garden. If you are interested, please self-refer through this form.
  • Evolve NK: North Kensington families can access a Volunteer Befriender that provide individual wellbeing support for 6 to 12 months, delivered by Family Friends. Those accessing our programmes will also have the option to attend monthly groups and days out. To refer or self-refer: Contact the team on 0204 568 8832, or refer yourself here.
  • Music and Movement at the Playhut: Family-based music and movement sessions for children under the age of 6, as well as parents and carers at Meanwhile Gardens. Includes dancing, singing, using musical instruments. Drop-in times: Mondays and Fridays from 12.30 - 2:30pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.15 - 11.15am.
