It is an awareness session around key issues such as energy affordability, energy efficiency and carbon monoxide safety. Attendees will leave with the knowledge and skills to confidently advise people about these issues and signpost them to relevant support, ensuring they stay safe and warm this winter.
National Energy Action is the national fuel poverty charity. They work in partnership with other agencies to ensure that people can stay safe and warm at home.
Come along to find out and ask questions about:
- The links between fuel-poor homes and ill health
- The risk and impacts of carbon monoxide
- Methods for minimising carbon monoxide in the home
- Alleviating symptoms of fuel poverty, including information about the priority services register and other support available
This is an online session via Zoom. We can offer a small number of in-person spaces at the KCSC offices (111-117 Lancaster Road, W11 1QT). If you would like to attend in-person, please register as normal, and then email us via [email protected] requesting a space. Spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
