North Kensington Community E-Bulletin
Joe Batty our Senior Community Development and Engagement officer provides a regular e-bulletin for participants and subscribers to the Grenfell Network Group.
Comprising of residents, businesses and voluntary agencies in North of Kensington, the group coalesced in the aftermath of the horrific fire at Grenfell Tower meeting semi-regularly to discuss a range of issues including; local governance, future renewal and development of the area after the tragedy and allied issues of note from across the northern wards.
Distributed Governance proposal for North Kensington Recovery Group
The Grenfell Network Group, a collaboration of residents, councillors and voluntary agencies wrote up a proposal for RBKC - Governance Review. The proposal is to provide a solid foundation for a community-led recovery within the five wards of North Kensington, and a model for increased public participation in decision-making across Kensington & Chelsea.
Cooking Up Ideas: Addressing the challenges of food poverty in Kensington and Chelsea
The findings of our year long research project examining food poverty in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This report highlights the experiences of food aid providers and recipients, and is based on work carried out in partnership with seven local charities.
