Why become a Trustee?

Trustees can develop business skills, and make lasting change. By joining WCA's experienced board you will share and learn all about local charity governance and leadership. 

With four formal meetings per year, you can share your experiences, and learn from experienced professionals. WCA is a local charity that supports community projects to grow, and champions the voices of local people on Health and Social Care services. 

Who are WCA looking for?

WCA are looking to grow their diverse board of trustees to support the local community. They welcome applicants with an interest or experience in specific skills, and first time trustees. Areas favoured include: Finance HR, IT, PR, digital marketing Community interest Health and care Third sector experience. Other capabilities are also valued, they are keen to learn from each other, and encourage people to apply who are new to work or with lived experience of local services.

Volunteers are welcome from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and those with protected characteristics.
