Citizens' Panel

RBKC are embarking on an abitious recruitment programme to recruit up to 2000 residents of the borough to join a Citizens’ Panel. It is an online group residents who have agreed to give their views on consultation topics throughout the year.

Obviously for this to be truly representative of the borough those seldom heard voices, we paradoxically hear so much about, need also to be at the table. Therefore, KCSC is urging the CVS sector to do all they can to galvanise our clients, customer or service users to take part, whilst urging RBKC to ensure the digital divide - something they and their partners are striving to tackle - is not a barrier. Panel membership is intended to be broadly representative of the borough’s population (both in terms of key demographics and the area where members live) to ensure a diverse range of voices are heard by the Council on key priorities.
