Golborne Maxilla Nursery School

Submitted by Victoria Borwick on

Golborne Maxilla is a well established "outstanding" nursery school and we are forming a charity to support the school so that we can offer additional opportunities
Golborne Maxilla Nursery School welcomes pupils from all backgrounds, we are an equal opportunity organisation and are committed to a working environment that is free from any discrimination. We welcome children and their families with SEND and ensure that they are well-prepared for their learning journey after their time at Golborne Maxilla Nursery School.

Our overarching ambition is the alleviation of poverty and to enhance the opportunities and provision at the school, forest school and any location that would benefit the pupils, their families and the community.

As a Trustee you would support the audit, risk and compliance of the Charity - overseeing the financial administration to ensure that we are following best practice and in compliance with the legal requirements of the Charity Commission.
As Trustees, we intend to ensure that the Nursery School is financially sustainable, well-run and committed to delivering our charitable responsibilities. It would be helpful if Trustees lived in RBKC and had experience of being a Charity Trustee.
Trustees are not expected to fundraise.
