Fairer Kensington and Chelsea Action Plan

Share your views at an online meeting organised by KCSC and RBKC.

RBKC's 'Fairer Kensington and Chelsea Action Plan' aims to tackle Inequality, celebrate Diversity and promote Inclusion in our borough.  It will help make sure the Council is doing what it can to tackle the drivers of inequality and deprivation in the borough and improve life chances for residents.   Addressing inequality and deprivation will also require action from central government and key partners, such as the NHS, the Police and the voluntary and community sector.

The Fairer Action Plan will need to show how the Council will meet the three legal duties under the Equality Act 2010: (i) to eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation, (ii) to advance equality of opportunity and (iii) to foster good relations between people.

Your view matters.

Whilst the Council has set up an online survey to respond to the consultation on the Fairer Action Plan which you can access here,  KCSC is working with the Council to bring the VCS together at an online meeting to feed in views directly.

You will hear more details about the aims/goals within the plan and how these will be achieved and have the opportunity to give direct input into the intended plans.

This meeting is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
