Are you a trustee of a voluntary and community organisation working in Kensington & Chelsea? Then why not join us on Wednesday 20 November at a workshop on the financial roles and responsibilties of trustees. This session will be delivered by an accountant.
This early evening session is suitable for both new trustees and those who feel they would benefit from a better understanding of their charity's finances and accounts.
The workshop will cover some questions trustees should ask such as:
- Are we an effective trustee body?
- Are we financially strong enough to continue to provide services for our beneficiaries?
- Are we making the best use of the financial benefits we have as a charity?
- Do we have adequate safeguards in place to prevent fraud?
- What is our policy on reserves?
This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
Please note change of time this online training will now be from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
